Things on Etsy we’d snag.

As we know, Etsy is a minefield. What was once a place for creatives to sell their art/work has now become what feels like an ad overloaded resale shop. How does one sift through the new, fake handmade junk to get to the good stuff?

With a lot of searching and sleuthing we have found amazing creations and more than anything love to support small businesses. As an interior design firm, we’re constantly looking for styling goods, interesting lighting options and new wall art . We’ve compiled a list of items below that have caught our attention.

We have utilized a few of these in projects, but haven’t experienced all the products. Please proceed to checkout at your own risk. (We are also not affiliated with these companies, nor making any sort of commission- we’re just here for the fun.)

Lighting:

This Irwin wall sconce from Matt Alford Studio is great- it’s perfect for nightstands, guest bedrooms, kids reading lights, etc. The quality of their work is strong. We love their scoop sconce, too!

How great is this little ceramic lamp from Duzy Designs!? What a perfect, warm accent to an entry table, sofa table or built in. LOVE.

Table lamps are a great find on Etsy and this Exotic Lime Ceramic Base from De Barro Ceramics is a good one. Great opportunity for a pop of color.

This is a gorgeous, large, linen lantern from Lumiere Shades Store- perfect for a living room or dining room space. We’re using this in an upcoming project and can’t wait to see it hung in place.

Ceramics:

We absolutely love this wheel thrown white stoneware vase from Cindy Graham Ceramics based in California. The texture and color is stunning.

Look at this charming, unique piece from Mine Burgess Ceramics. This terracotta vase will make a statement to any console or built in. Obsessed.

Whimsy by Wyeth is making some pretty killer retro, mid-century-esque pieces like this checkered, muted green vase. Love the use of color and geometric design.

Catch all trays are a must and this one from MW Ceramics in Boston is a showstopper . We love the warm and movement of this piece. The glazing is just lovely.

Oil bottles don’t have to be boring. We’re adoring these ceramic bottles from Yael Gronner Ceramics. This would make a wonderful client or housewarming gift.

Wall Art:

Art has to speak to you. This navy birch tree piece from Inkwell Essentials feels pretty rad to us.

We purchased a piece from Goldfinch Art Co. a while back and are still in love. The pieces are special, handmade and add such a great linear, textural element to any room.

You’re going to notice a trend here- we love textural wall elements. Why stay flat when you can add dimension to a space. These fully customizable orbs from FLUR Store fill us with joy. It’s a yes from us.

Make a big impression with this wall set from SIZMARI. We totally dig the deep black color, organic texture and geometric pattern. Great solution for an open living room wall.

If you end up snagging any of these pieces, please let us know how you liked them. Happy hunting!
